Clocks placed on the top of tall towers, termed as clock towers, narrate their own story and significance. They came into existence when clocks and watches were not common place items and they rang loudly to summon the surrounding communities to work or to prayer. They significantly signified time. But now telling time is hardly the role of these clock towers. They are standing erect portending the generations they have been through. They are indeed representative of strength and design at the same time. Their architectural richness is something which keeps the eye of beholder caught to the shrine.
